Lesson 1: Catch up
This lesson I plan to catch up on my blog work; for this I will continue
with my contingency plans to hopefully complete within the week. For this I
will need to think of possible scenarios that could cause my magazine
planning to go wrong; this will require a lot of thought and time so may last
up to two – 3 lessons.
Lesson 2:
In lesson 2, I am planning to work more on my second article, “False
Faces And Phoney Figures.” As I have already begun this as homework, I will
most likely be able to complete this in the hour and a half lesson. This will
include collecting a lot of data, research and statistics to include in my
article, as it is a serious expose, this type of factual content will be most
useful to the target audience. Lastly, when I have completed this, I will
give it to Becky for any further improvement to be made.
Lesson 3: This lesson I will use this time to catch up on my blog
work. I will complete my second article for my DPS, “False Faces And Phoney
Figures” in order to get caught up on past work; however before adding this
to my blog, I will first give the first draft of the article to Becky for
improvements. Lastly, I must add this to my blog along with my other finished
articles. I will also begin the schedule plan for the next few weeks.
Lesson 4: Project Monitoring & catch up:
For Friday’s lesson I will ensure that I check how much I have
caught up with work and how much I have left to complete (from black folder
and blog) As well as this I am continuing to work through the blog checklist;
I need to add my pitch from PowerPoint and successfully complete all three
article planning sheets; this will not take a very long time as I have
already written all three article, so I am able to answer all questions
easily and correctly.
Homework 1: Continue
improvements for black folder; this will include completing my treatment and
constraints work.
Homework 2: This week I plan
to complete more blog work in order to get up to date. To do this I will
complete my article planning sheet for my second article “False faces and
phoney faces” After I have done this, I will then add this to my blog.

Lesson 1: Exam week
Lesson 2:
Schedule planning
This lesson I plan to create my schedule in order to be more
organized over the next few weeks of production. I will begin with the week
before Christmas, talking through what work I did each lesson within the
week. After this, I also aim to complete other boxes in the schedule
template, in order to talk about what I have done in Media throughout the
last week, as well as the next two weeks. Also, as I am only in college for
three days this week (and only have one Media lesson) I will complete other
work, such as blog catch up, as homework. Lastly, I have booked a photo-shoot
for the 28th of January (Wednesday) for my “False Faces and Phoney
Figures” article.

Homework 1:
I am planning to complete my black folder improvements for next
week’s deadline, this will consist of my Treatment and constraints work that
I need to complete.
Homework 2:
Secondly, I need to add more content to my blog from the checklist;
I need to complete my third article and add my pitch from PowerPoint.
Homework 3: For this week, I
will only be completing two sections of homework for media, as other subjects
have closer deadlines.

Lesson 1: Production
In Monday’s lesson I will begin producing my first DPS, which will
be my first mock up of “Your Festival Survival Guide”. However, I will
continue improving this mock up (looking at audience feedback) to help
maintain positive aspects and lose any negative aspects. This will include
altering the actual DPS’ style, layout, colour scheme etc as well as the
article; I have already got plenty of feedback stating what to change and
what to maintain within the magazine. Additionally,
I created two different articles for this DPS, from this feedback I will be
able to choose the correct one that is most favored by the audience.
Lesson 2:
This lesson I will be continuing with improvements on my first
article and DPS, I am able to do this by looking at recent questionnaires
that I recently asked my target audience; due to this, this particular
article wont take too long to complete, as I only need to make improvements.
When I have completed this newest version of my DPS, I will ask some of my
classmates and Becky what they think of it and if it could still be improved,
if so, I will continue improving.
Lesson 3:
In this lesson, I plan to begin creating my contents page for my magazine;
I have created a flat plan for this, which I can follow whilst making it. I
will create this using Photoshop, as it will work better containing photos
than InDesign.
Lesson 4 Project Monitoring & blog catch up:
At the end of the week, I am planning to complete more of the blog
checklist; I am also aiming to have done most of my blog work as homework, in
order to have more lesson time participating in production of my magazine.
Secondly, if I do happen to have time after completing my blog checklist, I
aim to start making photo-shoot plans; organizing how my models are going to
get here, when to bring props and clothing in etc.

Lesson 1: Production
In Monday’s lesson, I aim to begin my second DPS which is “False
Faces and Phoney Figures” I am planning to create the layout (from my flat
plan) as well as creating the correct columns and colour scheme, in order to
do this properly, I will copy straight from my flat plan, making my plans consistent.
My photo shoot for this DPS will take place on Wednesday 26th
February, meaning that the photos will be applied to the DPS on Thursdays
lesson.
Lesson 2:
In this lesson, I will be taking photos in the studio for my photo
shoot. In preparation for this, I will plan when my model will arrive, how to
get the props into college and provide the correct clothing for the model to
wear. I have also completed my contingency plans, in order to be prepared for
anything that could go wrong and how to avoid it. After the photo shoot is
complete, I will check through the photos on the camera before we leave the
studio, making sure that most photos are of good quality. I will then put the
photos onto my account on my computer.
Lesson 3:
This lesson I aim to look through my photos and choose a suitable
one/ two to include in my DPS; this will require taking time to go through
all photos, seeing how I could improve them on photo shop and finalizing it
down to a few good quality pictures. This will most likely take the entire
lesson to complete, however if I do have time at the end I will begin to
apply them to my DPS layout.
Lesson 4 Project Monitoring & Production:
On Fridays lesson, I am going to continue working on my second DPS;
I may have begun editing and choosing photos in lesson 3, although if not, I
must begin searching through my photos that I recently took and choose up to
three good quality photos. Additionally, I could also edit some pictures that
only contain minor negative aspects e.g. lighting or angle.

Lesson 1:
This lesson I will continue with my second DPS if there are still
improvements to be made from last lesson. Although if it is completed, I will
begin the layout of my third DPS, “Stressed? Relax, breath and Read On…” This
will consist of creating an InDesign layout with correct columns.
Lesson 2
This lesson I must continue working on my third DPS, adding my
article and gaining some improvements or if there is anything I need to
change. Due to this being an hour and a half lesson, I may complete this DPS
in this lesson, if this does happen I will create a first draft of my front
cover. I will begin thinking of headlines and the layout of the front cover,
as well as different fonts that I could include to convey correct
connotations to my audience.
Lesson 3
I must complete third DPS if not already finished, if it is I will
ensure to continue working through my front cover on Photoshop, designing the
layout and searching for various different fonts that will be appropriate for
my magazine front cover (DaFont.com)
Lesson 4 Project Monitoring & Fonts:
I will search for multiple fonts this lesson on the website
DaFont.com.

Lesson 1
This lesson I will continue improving any of my work that needs
improvements; I will ask Becky and my classmates to look through my DPS’s,
front cover and articles to receive any improvements or any positive aspects
that can be maintained.
Lesson 2
I will catch-up on any work that needs doing, in case I fail to
stick to the schedule. This will give me time to complete sections of work
that may not be completed yet.
Lesson 3
Begin to apply my latest work onto blog.
Lesson 4 Project Monitoring &
Homework 1: Make any improvements to my DPS's that need altering, to do this I will ask my friends and Becky for their opinions and criticisms.
